Social Tennis
Jerrabomberra Tennis Club (JTC) holds regular social tennis for members and non-members accommodating all skill levels. The more people that attend, the more fun it is for everyone!
Social tennis is held on:
Wednesday mornings from 8:00am to 10.30am, Friday afternoons from 5:00pm to 8:00pm; and Sundays from 8:00am to 11am.
You can turn up when you like, and you can leave when you like. When you arrive, you can join in with doubles and singles matches. People in attendance are mindful to pair people up with a view to keeping the competition even – so everyone in attendance can have an enjoyable game. We very much encourage beginners and intermediates to attend – as this is a really good opportunity to practice your technique and meet other people from across the community.
Members Social Pricing – is free for members on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday sessions.
Non-members Social Pricing – pay $5 per session to play Social Tennis.
A social tennis Instant Messenger Group (Jerra Social Tennis) has been established so people know that it’s on and who may be attending. Everyone is welcome to join this notification service, that way you will be guaranteed to have someone to have a hit with. Join here by advising your username so that we can add you to the group!
In the summer months, JTC sometimes offers some Saturday and Sunday afternoon social tennis followed by a BBQ. These events are published on our web page (https://play.tennis.com.au/JerrabomberraTennisClub), on Facebook, Instagram, at the club house and in our Newsletters. There is no charge for attending (members and non-members) so it would be great to see you and your family joining in on these family friendly afternoons.
